Pictures (I Promised Them) 10-Minute Dinner for Six

Today I’m doing something new—I’m sharing my very first real-life, non-AI πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘Šphoto straight from my kitchen! πŸ’— I’ve been wanting to shift from just telling you about meals to actually showing you what happens behind the scenes in my kitchen. Starting small today with a snapshot of a 10-minute dinner for six. It’s quick, it’s real, and it’s proof that simple meals can still bring everyone to the table. Coming next, I hope to get some short videos on here, to share some of my favorite moments in the kitchen and some of my most loved family recipes. Those won't be 10 minutes πŸ˜‰

Here’s what made it happen: I grabbed four packs of Earthly Grains rice and vermicelli blend from Aldi (just $1.70 each). This blend cooks in about seven minutes in either a rice cooker or on the stovetop—just add water and a splash of oil, and you’re good to go. While that was working, I took a pack of tomato-and-basil sausage (also Aldi, on sale for $3.98), sliced it up, and gave it a quick sear in a buttery pan. The sausage paired perfectly with the aromatic rice blend, also tomato themed. I portioned everything into two-compartment meal prep containers, and just like that—dinner for six in ten minutes flat. πŸ‘Not Gordon Ramsey, but it sure makes mommies life easier and it was quite delish! πŸ˜‡

If you noticed things were quiet around here last week, life hit me with a double wave—multiple family emergencies and, on top of that, my identity was stolen through a job application. It threw me off track, but I’m back now and excited to dive into more “real-life kitchen” content with you.

Your Turn!
What’s your go-to “feed the crowd in ten minutes” meal? I’d love to hear your ideas in the comments.

Happy hustling! πŸ’ͺ
