Pictures (I Promised Them) 10-Minute Dinner for Six Today I’m doing something new—I’m sharing my very first real-life, non-AI   👀👀👀👊photo straight from my kitchen! 💗 I’ve been wanting to shift from just telling you about meals to actually showing you what happens behind the scenes in my kitchen. Starting small today with a snapshot of a 10-minute dinner for six. It’s quick, it’s real, and it’s proof that simple meals can still bring everyone to the table. Coming next , I hope to get some short videos on here, to share some of my favorite moments in the kitchen and some of my most loved family recipes. Those won't be 10 minutes 😉 Here’s what made it happen: I grabbed four packs of Earthly Grains rice and vermicelli blend from Aldi (just $1.70 each). This blend cooks in about seven minutes in either a rice cooker or on the stovetop—just add water and a splash of oil, and you’re good to go. The 2-Minute Rule That Saves Me an Hour a Day Most of the time, life is to busy, to messy, and to tedious to stop and sort out what to do next, because their is so much to do: and this is why I have learned  the 2-Minute Rule . Here’s how it works: if a task takes two minutes or less, do it right away. That’s it. No fancy planner, no overthinking. Just instant action. Why it works: Two-minute tasks pile up like straws in a hay stack, emails, dirty cups, tidying the desk, starting the laundry, stuffing the dishes in the oven cause you're moms coming 😂😂😁. Just Kidding, or am I ? 😏  A quick reply, wiping the counter, making a shopping list, posting on your social media, calling your friend for a quick check in: Knock them out before they grow teeth. 💪 You cut down decision fatigue. No “Should I do it now or later?” You just do it. Your brain feels lighter. Clearing the little stuff frees up focus for the big things. This rule has saved me hours each week. Ins...

Life Lately + A Real Mom Reality Check Big changes around here 😲 my daughter just started public school, and her first day was a big success! Grandma is over the moon 🙄, Did I just eye roll grandma?😣Yes... yes I did,  and I’ll admit, I may have teared up just a little watching her head through those doors with her backpack bouncing. 😭 😍😥😭😭😭😭💕💕💕💕💕 Yeah ok, we get it. At the same time, I’ve stepped into a new chapter myself: graduate school at Liberty University for Clinical Mental Health Counseling after finishing my B.A. in Christian Studies. “Busy” feels like an understatement, but it’s also a very encouraging things are moving forward 😇. Now let’s be real. You know me, I love a good system, a tidy routine, and a hack that makes life run smoother. But here’s the truth: not every single morning goes as planned, no matter how many times I've nailed it. Some mornings I'm just tired 😒, so what then? Well, that depends on a lot of unpredictable factors 😅, like...
