A Note from Her Hustling Hub Friends, After much thought, I’ve decided it’s time to close this chapter of Her Hustling Hub . For technical reasons, this blogging platform has made it challenging to grow in the ways I hoped. As the creator, I’ve chosen to re-channel my energy into something fresh and sustainable. My long-term vision hasn’t changed—I still want to share recipes, homemaking hacks, and everyday encouragement. But I’ll be relaunching with a new domain (likely on WordPress) where I can build with more flexibility. I also plan to dive into creating kitchen videos and recipe walkthroughs, so you can cook right alongside me. In the meantime, this site will remain open for the next 30 days. If you’d like to stay connected and be notified when the new project launches, feel free to drop your email in the comments. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for following along and sharing this space with me. I hope you’ve enjoyed your time here as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it...

Pictures (I Promised Them) 10-Minute Dinner for Six Today I’m doing something new—I’m sharing my very first real-life, non-AI   👀👀👀👊photo straight from my kitchen! 💗 I’ve been wanting to shift from just telling you about meals to actually showing you what happens behind the scenes in my kitchen. Starting small today with a snapshot of a 10-minute dinner for six. It’s quick, it’s real, and it’s proof that simple meals can still bring everyone to the table. Coming next , I hope to get some short videos on here, to share some of my favorite moments in the kitchen and some of my most loved family recipes. Those won't be 10 minutes 😉 Here’s what made it happen: I grabbed four packs of Earthly Grains rice and vermicelli blend from Aldi (just $1.70 each). This blend cooks in about seven minutes in either a rice cooker or on the stovetop—just add water and a splash of oil, and you’re good to go. While that was working, I took a pack of tomato-and-basil sausage (also Aldi, on sal...

The 2-Minute Rule That Saves Me an Hour a Day Most of the time, life is to busy, to messy, and to tedious to stop and sort out what to do next, because their is so much to do: and this is why I have learned  the 2-Minute Rule . Here’s how it works: if a task takes two minutes or less, do it right away. That’s it. No fancy planner, no overthinking. Just instant action. Why it works: Two-minute tasks pile up like straws in a hay stack, emails, dirty cups, tidying the desk, starting the laundry, stuffing the dishes in the oven cause you're moms coming 😂😂😁. Just Kidding, or am I ? 😏  A quick reply, wiping the counter, making a shopping list, posting on your social media, calling your friend for a quick check in: Knock them out before they grow teeth. 💪 You cut down decision fatigue. No “Should I do it now or later?” You just do it. Your brain feels lighter. Clearing the little stuff frees up focus for the big things. This rule has saved me hours each week. Ins...

Life Lately + A Real Mom Reality Check Big changes around here 😲 my daughter just started public school, and her first day was a big success! Grandma is over the moon 🙄, Did I just eye roll grandma?😣Yes... yes I did,  and I’ll admit, I may have teared up just a little watching her head through those doors with her backpack bouncing. 😭 😍😥😭😭😭😭💕💕💕💕💕 Yeah ok, we get it. At the same time, I’ve stepped into a new chapter myself: graduate school at Liberty University for Clinical Mental Health Counseling after finishing my B.A. in Christian Studies. “Busy” feels like an understatement, but it’s also a very encouraging things are moving forward 😇. Now let’s be real. You know me, I love a good system, a tidy routine, and a hack that makes life run smoother. But here’s the truth: not every single morning goes as planned, no matter how many times I've nailed it. Some mornings I'm just tired 😒, so what then? Well, that depends on a lot of unpredictable factors 😅, like...

🍲 Blog Title: Pantry Staples That Actually Get Used (Not Just Look Cute in Jars) 💬 Intro: Real Talk Let’s be honest. Some pantry items are there for the aesthetic, or because you bought them on impulse and felt bad after... forever (hello, mason jars of jelly beans literally no one eats). But when you’re juggling kids, work, homeschool, and the occasional identity crisis in the bread aisle,  you need food that works as hard as you do. This isn’t a trendy list. This is what actually gets opened, poured, seasoned, and scraped clean around here. Budget-friendly. Kid-approved. Hustle-tested. 🧂 Pantry Staples I Always Reach For 1. Pasta (Elbow, Penne, Spaghetti, Whatever’s on sale) Because a box of noodles + a jar of something = dinner in 12 minutes. Bonus: they microwave like a dream the next day. 2. Rice (White, Brown, or Jasmine) Goes with literally anything. I’ve made stir fry, taco bowls, fake-it-like-it’s-fancy chicken, and lazy fried rice all from one bag...

6-Minute Breakfast Sandwiches: Fast, Filling, and Family-Friendly You already know I love a good 6-minute meal, and let’s be honest, mornings are prime time for a quick fix that feels a little fancier than it is. Whether I’m prepping for homeschool mornings before work or want to maximize family time on my day off and be able to sit and enjoy with the group, this is one of my favorite go-to breakfast hustles. ☕ The Morning Drinks Game Plan Hot drinks are non-negotiable in my house, but we’re not trying to play barista before 8 a.m. So here’s how I keep it easy: For the adults: Instant coffee with a scoop of Swiss Miss? Don’t dismiss it till you try it. The hot cocoa gives it that rich, café flavor without the effort. Or orange juice if caffeine isn’t your thing. For the kids: Swiss Miss or OJ, either way, it’s fast, warm (or cold), and mess-free. I just heat water in the coffee pot, line up the mugs, and everyone builds their own drink, or tells me what they want, ...

Sometimes, survival isn’t about fighting the biggest monsters, it’s about realizing the smallest ones can be just as deadly. Morbid Treasure is one of my original short stories, blending the eerie beauty of a winter village with the creeping dread of something unnatural stirring beneath it. There’s danger, there’s mystery… and there’s Selwyn, a green-speckled white owl with more attitude than patience, fighting to keep my characters alive when the unthinkable hatches. I’m sharing it here for the first time so you can step into this strange, perilous world with me. Settle in, keep your windows closed, and whatever you do… don’t touch the eggs. Morbid Treasure The rains had come suddenly, in violent torrents. Unexpected cold froze rivulets against every window whose dweller had not put up their shutters. Our village huddled within its red shingled confines, hiding from temperamental nature. When the ground shook, ice fell from the windows. I remember the thickness of fear as the ligh...
